What are Rocker Switches?
Rocker Switches are one of the most easily recognisable switch types that you will come across, as they are used for many common applications such as light switches and household appliances. When pressed, their actuator ‘rocks’ between two or more positions, so as one end raises, the other lowers. For this reason they are sometimes known as see-saw switches.
The simple operation of rocker switches makes them easy to use, as they usually only require a small amount of pressure and dexterity to move. Their design also provides a clear indication of their status.
