What are Slide Switches?
Slide switches are key components that are designed to control the flow of current within a circuit and can be operated either manually or electrically. Typically, slide switches are used to manage the current by sliding in one direction or the other to turn an electrical device ‘on’ or ‘off’. This action creates or disables a circuit, effectively interrupting it by using the switch.

Our slide switches feature PCB mounting technology, which means that they are directly mounted onto the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). We offer both surface mount PCB switches (SMD/SMT), which sit flat on top of the PCB, as well as through-hole or ‘thru-hole’ PCB switches, which are inserted into drilled holes on the PCB and then soldered to pads on the opposite side.
