5 pin relay switches power between two circuits.
5 pin relays provide 2 pins (85 & 86) to control the coil and 3 pins (30, 87 & 87A) which switch power between two circuits. They have both normally open and normally closed connection pins. When the coil is activated, power will be switched from the normally closed pin to the normally open pin.
We have a wide range of relays from Automotive flashers, Automotive Relays, Communication Relays, Connects/Bases to General purpose and Heavy Duty relays.
What are Automotive relays?
We offer many types of PCB Relays useful for a range of appliances. PCB Relays are electro-mechanical components that allow effective flow of current. They commonly use an electromagnet (coil) to operate their internal mechanical switching mechanism (contacts). When a relay contact is open, this will switch power ON for a circuit when the coil is activated.
Where are Automotive Relays used?
Automotive relays are commonly used by the automotive industry and marine & boat building industry. Automotive relays are available with 4pin and 5pins. This type of relay has either normally closed or normally open contacts and can handle up to 30 or 40 amps.
Voltages are available from 5v, 12v and 24v as standard. 24V options are often used within the automotive industry as well as marine applications.
Relays are commonly used by the following industries but are not limited to.
