The 5SE series is our range of sealed sub-miniature Slide Switches. They have an IP67 rating which means they are protected against dust and immersion in water (for up to 30 minutes between depths of 15cm and 1m), as well as being washable.
Slide switches are used to turn a device on and off or to control a specific function, and due to their small size, they can commonly be found in electronic devices such as torches, radios or remote controls. However, they are utilised in a wide variety of applications, such as Audio & Broadcasting, Boatbuilding & Marine, Medical equipment and Industrial controls.
These PCB switches feature a latching function (remaining in position until it is moved), with SPDT or DPDT configuration and a contact rating up to 0.4VA. You can select vertical or horizontal mount slide switches with 2 or 3 positions.
